This week was spent getting back into the swing of things. It seems like no time at all since I last left the building and here I am again back in the most important semester of my degree. It was strange seeing my studio space after being away from it for quite a while. We went to a meeting on Monday afternoon which really hit home the fact that degree show is imminent. We were given a degree show proposal sheet each, asking us all the details of what we want our degree show to potentially look like. It makes it seem very real all of a sudden! The rest of the week was spent sourcing acrylic sheets that I can use for my main pieces and working in Photoshop to edit photographs. These photographs will be etched on the laser cutter next week as I have it booked out a lot. I will write again next week, hopefully with successful acrylic test pieces!
