This week was my third tutorial with my tutor Louise. My ideas have developed quite a bit since last time I had seen her, so it was nice to catch up. She talked to me about the idea of adding slight imperfections to the photographs, mimicking the imperfections of the disease and morphing the photograph into something less perfect in detail. I really liked this idea so I played about this week on how I could accomplish this. I used a variety of ideas including hex code and various photoshop tricks. This week I am going to work on creating more photographs and finishing off sections of my dissertation for my other tutor to mark. I feel like everything is going really well though, I seem to be making steady progress.

This image was created by editing hex code.

This image was the same, created by editing hex code. I like the repetition of certain parts of the image.

This image was an experiment in blurring certain parts of the image, to give a clear/burry effect.

This image was created by warping parts of the image. I like this idea better than the hex code as it looks far more subtle and doesn’t change the overall look of the image.

This is the same technique, I like how certain elements can be stretched.
