When I was using the vinyl cutter to draw one thing attracted me that I loved – how the machine tests pressure. You have to set the desired pressure from 5g to 200g and then the machine makes a small test square. I began to like these test squares almost as much as I liked the drawings the machine produced and decided to fill a piece of paper with them. It reminded me of when I was working on my circle drawing. Slow and steady repetition… almost hypnotic!
