Here is my final outcome for my sculpture project. I worked with metal and wood which are both new materials for me as I wanted to challenge myself. The processes included welding, cutting, varnishing, painting and sawing. The sculpture is based on a 3d abstracted version of the map of Panmure where David Pithie my great (x3) Grandad lived (read more about that here.) I feel it was really successful for my first attempt and I would consider sculpture as a medium for further exploration in the future.
